Behind the lens.

Zhané (she/they) is a Black queer visual storyteller based in the Bay Area.

Their work focuses on capturing Black women and gender expansive folks in their full essence on their healing journey. With moments of joy, vulnerability, sensuality, and even grief, Zhané believes healing is a necessary contribution towards liberation. With methods of consent and collaboration, Zhané works with those in front of their lens to explore their healing journey through reflection, expression, and embodiment.
